Selling my signature buttercream

Has many of you know I love to make cards and scrapbook but I also have love and passion for cooking and baking. That being said, I am ready to venture out and sell my buttercream. I am in the process of swing what shipping, up plies and fda approve. I had so m any good response and Intrest on my buttercream I figure why not share it with more Peoole, all my ingridients are premium and good quality not cheap. It it sure makes for a better buttercream. More to come to keep you all updated.

I have a confession, I have become obsessive with this clothing company, if you haven't heard of them or tried on their clothe, they are soft and comfy. What company is that? matilda Jane clothing, they make the cutest clothe for little girls, pre teen and adults. I have sample of the clothe my daughter and I own, trust me at this rate we will run out of closet space. My obsession began about 6 months when a friend introduce me during the wonderful parade collection, my first purchase was "love letter shabby" and for the next few months everything o bought was for my daughter until I finally decided to give it a try and by for myself. 

For the flavor i did 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and added Hershey's coco powder, here's the link on how to make Italian meringue buttercream:

To let everyone know I am no longer a stampin' up! Demonstrator, I will hopefully focus on having classes weather it cards, scrapbooking or any other type of project. In the meantime I will share my delicious baking and arts and craft.  

Emerald shore vacation

 

This summer has been one of a kind. We've spend alot of time on the road gong back and forth between Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky. We   Also got to vacation in Florida for the first time, the gulf is a gem.

Apple puff pastry

Apple puff with coffee very simple to make and delicious, 

Peel and dice(small cube) apple, add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 cup of  brown  sugar...mix all those ingredients 

One sheet at pastry puff at room temperature but into squares fill them with apple fillings 

Add white egg wash on top and sprinkle sugar

Bake 400 degrees for 23 minutes

Many of us own a keurig or know some one that does. I am posting this to save you all money when buying your k-cup, rivo or vue refills. I waited until keurig had a promotion then I combine two coupons. If you order thru them they give you discounts and email you coupons and of course you earn point, if you are a heavy coffee drinker you can have them ship coffee automatically and gets discount.

Towbridges's 50's dinner in Florence AL

If you ever find yourself in Florence Alabama go downtown, it's clean and beautiful downtown fill switch shops and restaurants. I added Towbridge's to my must go for lunch and ice cream a 50's dinner look and the prices are unbeatable at $1.20 one large scoop of ice cream, $2.95 for their signature chicken sandwich which is amazing and $1.75 grill cheese can't beat that.

Ladies and gentlemen here's my final result on the dresser. No paint peeling and even put mod pudge popover the top to mark it a bit glossy and durable. No glass knobs they didn't look has nice has the one we pick.   

Update on the dresser I am re finishing, the original paint I pick has not dry after three days and it started to peel off. I went back to Lowe's and they gave me another type of paint, I do really hope it stick this time.

ALL DONE! Andy fish tank cake ready for the party....it only took me four hours to decorate it 

Day 5: I am taking a break from dresser. I have to prepare for Andy's birthday party tomorrow, to do list bake cake, decorate cake to look like a fish tank and put together goodie bags( yup and I am a making those too out of paper) 

Day 4: the priming is done, this took a lot of patience and most of my day(9am to 3pm). I ended up using valspar primer for glossy surfaces because the top of the dresser ended up being a laminate that unfortunately could not be remove. 

Day 3: finish sanding the dresser... Tomorrow the priming begins 

Day 2: I sanded both side of the dresser, it still needs a little more sanding but I got too tired to finish it today 

DIY project, re-finish an old dresser

I have always wanted to re-finish a piece of furniture. Now after months of being patient and waiting for a bargain on a used dresser(for my girl) I found this vintage wooden dresser for $30.  Day 1 consist of removing knobs, using a whole bottle of wood glue and wood filler. Tomorrow the fun begging so sanding this beautiful vintage dresser

Organizing little girls bows

Economical and fast way to organize little girls ribbons. I used a hanger with ribbon coming down from it then clip on the bows and Wala hang it in the closet against the wall.

I made some Honduran tostadas last night and of course that's for lunch today

Alittle baking today and treat for my husband co-workers, almond vanilla cupcake with almond vanilla frosting.

This is not scrapbooking, card or baking related but today was a special day for my son. One of his favorite author came to town for a book signing

An accidental puff pastry turn into a plain dough. So I stuffed it with Nutella, peach and even made a grown up Ham and cheese pastry.

My latest creation a custom made card for a customer. Detail inside and out perfect way to say "happy birthday"

I made blue velvet cupcakes and for the 1st time my little girl are the cake part along with frosting. Whip frosting with American buttercream roses

Mr. Brown deliver me a box full of goodies but this is just partial of my order. 

A new day and new beggining

Tomorrow is a new day, I have notice my dog is gaining weigh since we move, we don't have a fence in yard like we used to and shes not runing around. My solution to help her and help me: I am going to go joggin in the morning before anyone wakes up. I will start walking for 30 minutes and then move up to running for 1 hour. This way my dog will be happy and I can whip into shape.

Rustic apple pie

My first attempt at making apple pie was not bad, it looks rustic but I like that. I also over cooked the apples but now I know what to do different time, well at lease we still enjoy it. If you have an apple recipe you want to share with me let me know. 

Swiss meringue buttercream

Even thought I used salted butter and crisco my Swiss meringue buttercream still tasted pretty good. Now I can only imagine how it will AMAZING it will taste will

Un-Salted butter and sweetex(hi-ratio shortening). 

I am on a roll, first I completed a card and now I made a cake. This one is Alittle special because it was my first time making home made fondant and it taste so delicious  

Yet again I made another card in a box and it only took me two weeks to complete this card. .

This is has good has my craft space will look(a wall against my master bedroom) but for some reason I feel like my collection has shrunk but I actually added things, must be the small desk.
